Apostle Taybron is the Senior Pastor and Founder of The House of Prayer, Praise & Worship Int’l Ministries, our church is affectionately called HOPPW by the members.

Apostle’s mandate is to change lives through the spoken word of the Lord, to proclaim liberty to those that are bound, and to set the captives free. She has been in ministering for over 30 years and pastoring for 20 years.

Apostle Taybron has cultivated a ministry of prayer and fasting along with teaching and preaching the word of God. Her ministry has an atmosphere of worship and praise that invokes change and causes you to flourish in the things of God.

Apostle Taybron has been assigned to the body of Christ as a Prophet and a Pastor to her local church assembly. She has been set apart and called to the ministry to impact the lives of God’s people, bringing into a place of total commitment helping them to embrace their purpose and destiny without limits. She is anointed to inspire, motivate, and encourage people to come into the supernatural exceeding power of the true and living God.

Apostle Taybron was a member of Pilgrim Church under the leadership of Archbishop Roy E. Brown in Brooklyn, New York before relocating to Rocky Mount, North Carolina in August 1989. She started a youth organization called The F.I.R.M (Fellowship In Righteous Motivation) in 1996. On May 6, 2001, Sandra Taybron, was ordained a Minister at Freedom Christian Center under the leadership of Pastors Joseph and Stella Johnson. Minister Taybron was elevated to Pastorship on December 6, 2003. On June 12th, 2003, HOPPW was started in her home with prayer and bible study, she was encouraged and instructed by her then Bishop D. Myles Golphin, that she should begin to Pastor because of the following she had with the youth ministry. She reluctantly accepted the call to pastor although she had been operating in the fivefold ministry gifts since 1980. She was always careful to pray and seek God and did not allow her gifts to override the authority and covering God placed in her life. A few months later the Bishop encouraged us to take a leap of faith and move the ministry out of the home and into another location which landed us at Wesleyan College we worshiped there for four months. With a rapidly growing ministry because of our television ministry Pastor Taybron made another faith move and relocated to a most unusual place for a church making history at the Am Trak Station on the 3rd floor it was called the upper room by many who attended our services because of the powerful move of the Holy Spirit. We experience souls saved and God bring a dead baby to life, many healings, miracles, signs, and wonders took place in the Upper Room.

On December 8th,2009 during one of the highly anointed and prophetic services in “The Upper Room” Pastor Taybron was consecrated to the office of the Apostle by the Prophets and Apostles. Again, she reluctantly accepted the title because this was not in her plan, but the will of God had preceded her will. Nevertheless, since the consecration the power of God has ushered her into a new dimension and given her kingdom authority. Apostle Taybron has traveled to other countries and has not looked back since to the Glory of God. Apostle Taybron is continuing to move by the leading of the Lord in the vision God has given and has been in their new location at 213 South Church St. In Rocky Mount, NC which they are presently worshipping since 2014.

Apostle Taybron attended and completed a 7-year BSF Program which is an International Bible Study Fellowship Program out of San Antonio, Texas. She also completed Theological courses at LIF Christian University of North Carolina under Archbishop D. Myles Golphin. Apostle Sandra A. Taybron is a writer of music and literature. Her signature song, “I Will Do A New Thing In You,” is sung across the nations, and her book entitled “Things Happen When You Pray, Just Pray,” is still on the rise although written in 2008 it is a now read for the perilous times we are living in today. She is the loving mother of one daughter, Tannia who is the wife of Marcus Pitchford, and the proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren: Mackson, Makhi, Anthony, Trevor, and De’Nasia.
